2nd Sunday Songwriters SupperClub at FM (& Industry Speakers)

Each 2nd Sunday, we feature Songwriters with distinctive, excellent material that should be getting some licensing in TV, Film & Ads. November, a major cosmetics label Ad Pro in the audience said, “15 seconds of beautiful material can go a long way”. In December an Intl Film Festival organizer in the audience said “networking between up and coming Songwriters and up and coming filmmakers can lead to great exposure for both”. I’m on a shortlist with a few Music Supervisors and share opportunities with my musical brethren.

This month’s show will not disappoint:

Cabaret Sauvignon is a Jersey City based all-female a cappella quartet covering favorite tunes from torch to Top 40. Cab Sav performs a variety of venues and occasions, from wedding proposals to corporate breakfasts, fundraising galas to bat mitzvahs. They performed their original "Mysterious A Cappella Murder Cabaret" as part of the Midtown International Theatre Festival and at Jersey City's own Art House Productions. These harmony darlings love to entertain with original songs, medleys and mashups for your listening pleasure!

The All Night Drivers came together in the summer of 2015 when singer-songwriter, Ashley Lehmann (ukulele/vocals), a casual member of the NYC music scene, moved into an apartment with fellow musician and audio engineer Max Cicchino (guitar/vocals) and mentioned she'd been wanting to start a band. Marshall Ross, a multi-instrumentalist and Max's best friend was also on board from the start. The final pieces fell into place when Ashley and Max realized that the two people who spent the most time at their new place besides themselves, Justin Valazquez (bass) and Leo De Jesus (drums) formed one of the best rhythm sections around.
