Each "2nd Sunday" evening at FM we mix Music Pleasure with Music Biz! Sunday June 9th is a fantastic line up of recording, performing and VERY well reviewed songwriters and performers with songs in TV, Film and Ads. Music Supervisors,Film Festival Organizers, Filmmakers are invited and have been included in the Show as Industry Speakers in Q&A format.

Award Winning Musician and Author is a locally based Rock Powerhouse with International Acclaim. JamBase calls her "a supersonic fretburner who writes hauntingly memorable songs."
Devi self-placed her songs in film and TV, including two episodes of VH-1 Behind the Music, the feature films Tenderness (starring Russell Crowe, Laura Dern) and Getting Off (starring Brooke Smith, Christine Harnos), the theme for Stripped: Exposing the Business of Baring It All (Sundance Cable), and the end credit song "All That I Need" for the boxing film Fight LIke A Girl.
Ms. Devi will be at FM to share industry stories with self-published songwriters aspiring to license their work. She is currently represented by WacBIZ and will release three singles this summer featuring Gov't Mule bassist Jorgen Carlsson.
Ms. Devi is also the author of the award-winning blues glossary The Language of the Blues: From Alcorub to Zuzu (foreword by Dr. John), blurbed by Bonnie Raitt and Joe Bonamassa. Ms Devi appears as a blues expert in the films America’s Blues and Mr. Handy’s Blues, and has been interviewed by NPR All Things Considered, The BluesMobile and USA Today.

Hosts "The Writers Room" in NYC a monthly songwriters series in the Lower East Side. Son of an opera singer and a poet, Jeff has been winning over audiences since the release of his debut EP, “Enjoy The View” in 2010, of which several songs were featured on MTV's "Teen Mom 2." Jeff's EP was selected one of AOLMusic.com's featured albums of the week, and was among a dozen albums streamed worldwide alongside names such as R.E.M, Tony Lucca, and Hanz Zimmer. Enjoy Jeff solo, with his band "Jeff Jacobs n' Friends" at venues throughout NYC. He volunteers with Musicians On Call, providing music for hospital patients at their bedside. He has also done modeling shoots for Samson.
